These terms cover your use of this website. Reservation deposits are also covered by the reservation terms & refund policy, which take priority for anything to do with a reservation.
The product is in development
Everything this website says about FootNote describes a product that is still being designed and built. Images include illustrations and prototypes, and specifications, features and pricing may change before production. Nothing on this site is an offer to sell a finished product.
Using the site
Please don't misuse the site: no automated reservation submissions, attempts to interfere with its operation, or attempts to access data that isn't yours. Provide accurate information when you reserve.
Content
The FootNote name, logo, text, graphics and software on this site belong to FootNote. You're welcome to link to and share the site; please don't copy it.
Liability
We work hard to keep the site accurate and available, but it is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from using the site. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law that can't be limited by contract — including your right to the deposit refund described in the reservation terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Canada and of the province in which FootNote is based.
Changes
We may update these terms as FootNote moves toward production. The version shown at the top of this page tells you which version is current.
